More info

RF surge protector (also known as lightning arrester) CBT.763.249 from cables24.com is manufactured to precise radio frequency component standards for protection from electrical surges. This RF surge protector component in a coaxial in-line design is manufactured with SMA connectors and they are 50 Ohm.

Our surge arrestors and components feature low return loss, low insertion loss and low passive intermodulation (PIM). Have replaceable gas discharge tubes (GDT) and a ground lug terminal to provide superior grounding.
The surge protector are available with GDT of 90, 145, 230, 350, 470 ± 20% volts.

RF surge protectors / RF lightning arrestors from cables24.com are commonly used on antenna installations to protect sensitive equipment and are specially designed to pass the desired frequency while suppressing lightning surges.

Radiocommunication systems which are connected to an antenna are especially exposed to lightning strikes. The maximum risk is a direct strike on the antenna pole. Equipment such as GSM/UMTS or TETRA base stations must be protected from this risk in order to ensure service continuity.

These surge arrestors are available in a wide range of types and configurations, including designs that support applications like 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, Wifi, WiMAX, FM, AM, VHF and UHF broadcast.
